The introduction to the CD about Sonic Adventure is interesting to listen to and read.
This time, we have opened a page introducing "musical works related to Sonic and Sonic Team" other than Sonic Adventure, which had been under construction.
You might find some of them quite rare!
Check it out!!!!

Chao's Voice Hi-Mi-Tsu
For two weeks this week and next, an interview with Sasaki-san, who is well known for her sound of NiGHTS and "Manamoan", will appear in the "Women in the Digital Industry" section in the "Weekly ASCII" magazine.
Her name is also on the staff roll of Sonic Adventure, but it wasn't just because they let us use the song from NiGHTS!
In the meantime, read on!!!!
Oh, and speaking of magazines, be sure to check out From A, on sale 3/1!

Segakara
When I informed you the other day, I thought I wrote "Distribution start date: Coming soon"... (chuckles)
Apparently, when I went there, I said to myself, "What? It's not in there!" I heard that some people were in a situation like that.
In the meantime, they are planning to deliver it by the end of February, so just wait and see.
If you see "I'm in!", I'll let you know on BBS or chat!
Feb./12/1999
I'm starting a new corner!
We have started a new section called the Recording Diary.
The first is the New York Recording section, a two-part series of diaries and photographs.
But sorry, the photo page is heavy.

That's all I got!!!!
"Open Your Heart" is also available as a bilingual translation.

I'm about to enter Segakara!!!!
Everybody sing!!
Segakara had me yelling, "When in the world is this going to be released?"
In fact, we had to have the data reworked many times.

Sorry for the delay!!!

It would probably be best if I could go over to you all and play for you, but I can't deal with all that. (laughs)
Unlike a real live performance, a karaoke communication system uses data to play the sound source, so of course there are differences, but we repeatedly asked them to improve the quality as much as possible.
Thanks to Sega Music Networks and all those involved in the data production.
It should be available soon and we will keep you posted!

If it's not for sale...
Just make it available for purchase and we'll be OK!
Thanks to your support, the Sonic Adventure-related music CDs seem to be well received.
But on the other hand, it is also true that some people say, "I can't find it in my neighborhood", "I can't find it", or "Maybe I have to order it in...".

So, for those of you who are...!

Pony Canyon, the distributor of the MMV soundtrack, is
Only Sonic Adventure and other Sonic Team related music CDs will be accepted.

Here you go!
Japanese bilingual lyrics are available.
The theme song has been well received, saying, "It fits the character".
But the vocal mini-album also has only English lyrics, so we received requests for the content in Japanese, or to sing the theme song in Japanese even if we had to force ourselves to do so.

Now, for you...!

A bilingual translation is provided for each song.
The lyricist's thoughts, his struggles... There are also comments such as

Some of the users were so excited that they were eager to translate and publish the translation.
Seeing the reaction, I was reminded that there are many needs... I was reminded of this.

The lyrics page is here.

Introduction of the magazine in which the interview was published

Apparently, it was released on 1/20...
A magazine called "Piano Monthly", seemingly unrelated to Sonic Adventure, published an interview about Sonic Adventure, albeit only briefly.
The opening feature is "It's the Game of the Year Again!" and this is the introduction.

But what's with the "unintelligible creature" about Chao!!!!

Magazine name: Monthly Piano 1999/Feb.
Released by: Yamaha Music Media Inc.

If you've been wondering about the music, check it out!
Oh, and of course I've already checked out the vocal mini-albums... right? Right?

CLUB SEGA 2 on sale!
"CLUB SEGA" was released last year and has established a new movement in the club scene and has been on NTV's "Countdown Groove" show for over 4 months.
As the title suggests, it is a club mix of SEGA's game sounds, and the second in the series, "CLUB SEGA 2 ~Beat Grooves~" has been released.
For this album, I'm taking vocal songs with English lyrics as the subject matter and remixing them by dance music creators from all over the world.
Since we're presenting it here, there's something about the Sonic team... I guess that's what I'm saying.
In fact, songs like this one have been remixed.

Work It Out ...from SONIC R
We Are Burning Rangers ...from BURNING RANGERS
Dreams Dreams ...from NiGHTS
I Just Smile ...from BURNING RANGERS

We are in the process of preparing a page to introduce this CD and other music related to Sonic and Sonic Team, but for now, here are the part numbers and other information, so please check back!

MIDI file of Open Your Heart
included in DTM Magazine!
Literally, it's a magazine for people who enjoy DTM (desktop music), and in it is an interview about the sound of Sonic Adventure.
The page it's on is p. 23, not p. 44 as stated in the table of contents... Check it out.
But I still think that the tokoikun in this picture is not quite right....

Also, this magazine has a serialized section called "Game Music Fan Club", where we pick up a song in each issue and create MIDI data for it.
In the past, songs from NiGHTS and Sega Rally 2 have been featured, but this time, Open Your Heart is the subject of this project.
The CD-ROM that comes as an appendix has MIDI data, so check it out if you are interested.

Magazine name: DTM MAGAZINE 1999/Feb.
Edited and published by Terashima Joho Kikaku
Released by: BNN (BNN Corporation)
Release date: 1999/1/8
Price: 1,500 yen (including tax)
